Chart notes
SAILING SOLO tracked the early leader two deep, took aim four to five wide into the upper stretch and proved best under strong encouaragement. PROTONIC POWER raced off the early pace, advanced through the far turn, raced three wide between near the eighth pole and surged up for the place position. POINT PROVEN rated back early, moved up three wide around the far turn and closed in belatedly to finish with good energy racing five wide. DECCAN PRINCE (IRE) showed good early foot along the inside and gave way grudgingly late. BIG DREAMING raced mid pack early on, four deep near the three sixteenths pole and had not enough. DESERT DUKE stalked the pace, raced from the inside into the upper stretch and weakened. MR. BIG NEWS raced four wide around the first turn, raced with the second flight early on, swung seven wide into the upper lane to race from the far outside and had no late rally. SEDUCTIVE U S A saved ground and never threatened. DRAKON was allowed to settle early on, hard ridden near the three eighths pole three wide, raced six deep into the upper stretch and weakened. MICROPHONE (IRE) raced off the early going, angled wide into the upper lane and had no rally racing from the far outside.
