Chart notes
MILES AHEAD rated off the top pair early from the outside, moved up through the far turn, took aim at Super Ocho into the upper lane four deep and finished strongly to edge clear under stead pressure. SUPER OCHO (CHI) was sent to clear uncontested early pace, dug in from the inside nearing the eighth pole but was no match in the final stages. KAVOD raced off the early pace, advanced three to four wide through the far turn and flattened out while racing from the outside. SWIFT AS I AM raced at the back of the pack early on, was two to three wide around the far turn and moved up to improve position while racing from the outside. CHASING TIME raced off the early pace, saved ground through the far turn, eased out through the upper stretch and weakened.. GILCREASE tracked the early leader from the outside, hard ridden nearing the three eighths pole two deep and faded. MACHINE GUN MAN tracked early pace from the inside and gave way in the drive.
