Chart notes
MISSIONARY pressured the pace through the backstretch, took the lead three wide at the quarter pole and was steadily handled in the lane. LASTWALKTOFREEDOM broke a step slow then gave chase, rounded the turn near the rail and finished evenly while clearing second in later yards. J. WICK pressured the pace through the backstretch but dropped back at the quarter pole, raced in the three path on the turn then dueled for third. EVANESCO chased the early pace inside, was eased to the four path into the far turn then outfinished in the stretch duel for third. DR RENDEZVOUS was hustled to contention and took the edge nearing the three eighths pole, gave up the lead at the quarter and weakened. WINDSOR'S STAR was pulled up lame shortly after the start and was vanned off.
