Chart notes
MUD BUG was bumped leaving the gate then settled off the pace about the three path, started a bid leaving the half mile pole and took over two deep at the quarter, raced clear midway on the far turn and was steadily urged to hold on. HE'S ON FIRE rounded the first turn in the five path, started a bid toward the seven sixteenths pole and raced off the rail on the far turn then dueled through the stretch and finished well to take second. DAD'S LIL SPARK rated the pace inside, came under pressure approaching the three eighths pole, was met at the quarter, dropped back at the rail midway on the far turn and was outfinished in the stretch duel for second. AKINGISALWAYSKING rated close inside for a half mile, picked up the chase nearing the three eighths pole then angled to the five path approaching the far turn and finished evenly toward the outside. CHROME HEIR was shut off at the break and dropped well back from early contention, raced outside into the backstretch, rounded the far turn about the seven path and passed some rivals widest. STAVANGER was never a factor. CABAR SUL stumbled inward and made contact with Mud Bug leaving the gate then stalked from the seven eighths pole, gave chase leaving the seven sixteenths pole but weakened at the rail into the far turn.
