Chart notes
DING DING took the lead nearing the half mile pole and rated the pace, kept the advantage under a hand ride off the rail on the turn, was steadily handled through the stretch and held on well. MO CO GOLD chased the early pace toward mid track, raced close in the three path on the turn and finished well. SCARLET TANAGER gave chase well off the rail through the backstretch, rounded the turn about the three path and finished evenly to take third under the wire. ALWAYS SOMETHING engaged in close chase inside, raced at the rail on the turn and was nipped from third the final stride. VALID REASON gave chase toward the outside, rounded the turn about the four path then flattened in the lane. GRANDIOSELY gave chase, rounded the turn in the six path and showed little in the lane. BRUSHING chased outside through the backstretch, race din the six path on the turn and showed little in the lane.
