Chart notes
VIOLENT CITY lacked early speed, moved up, racing five wide around the turn, made a wide rally and proved the best late. ADIEU ACES vied for the early lead, saved ground, drove clear and was caught late for the win. RELIC HUNTER raced within contention, was close throughout, but proved no match for the top two. STRAIGHTEN UP challenged on the front end, lacked a late kick and was outfinished for third. OCEOLA raced within striking distance, weakened and finished evenly. TEXAS TURBINE raced in the middle of the pack, put forth an even effort and lacked a bid. TEMPLE CITY RUN void of early speed and was never close. DUSTY HILL lacked early speed and showed little. FLASHY BOY always raced near the back and was outrun.
