Chart notes
PROJECT LEADER took control early, vied three deep on the turn, dueled three wide into the lane, maintained command over STAFFORD TO KUPP into the final furlong and put away that rival in the final sixteenth. STAFFORD TO KUPP bumped by outer rival leaving the gate, stalked off the inside, bid between foes at the three-eighths pole, dueled two wide inside PROJECT LEADER into and down the lane but faltered in deep stretch. CITY OF CHAMPIONS broke in and bumped, prompted the pace from outside to the turn, lost ground four wide on the bend and churned on for a clear third. DR LOW KEY chased widest up the backstretch, navigated the turn five then six wide and weakened in the drive. POP POP'S RIDE brushed leaving the gate, stalked up the backstretch, bid inside a pair of rivals into the turn, got put in a bit tight midway around the bend and weakened in the stretch.
