CARPE HORSESHOE stalked the leader in the early going, moved up around the final turn, made a bid down the stretch and drove clear before the wire. GLANCE went to the front, drove clear, saved ground, proved no match late for the winner, but held the placed position. GIRL PRO unhurried in the beginning, racing within striking distance, saved ground around the final turn, angled out entering the stretch, made a mild bid, but couldn't catch the top two. MEAN AMERICAN raced within striking distance, faded and was no threat late.
