Chart notes
GATSBY'S FORTUNE vied for the early lead, drove clear, led throughout and held on well. TUSSLING CHARLIE bumped at the start, raced within striking distance, made a late bid and finished willingly. SO MANY STORIES lacked early speed, made a steady gain, but proved no match for the top two. ROCKING TOBE raced in the middle of the field, made a late wide bid and was outfinished for third. COOL RIDE raced in the middle of the pack and put forth an even effort. CUSTOM STAR pressed the early pace and weakened. HALF GUILTY broke a step slow, racing in the rear and passed tired ones. MAGNOLIA SPEED raced evenly near the back, came around the turn wide and was never a threat. JOSEPH H broke out, vied for the early lead, saved ground and dropped back. C F HENRY lacked early speed and showed little.
