Chart notes
O K SMARTY PANTS took the lead leaving the chute and rated the pace, came under pressure past the quarter pole, rounded the turn near the rail, was kept alert to widen, then taken in hand late yards. ESSENTIAL MAGIC chased inside and raced close at the rail on the turn, eased out entering the stretch, dug in leaving the turn but flattened late while able to hold onto second. NEW AGE BAD GIRL gave chase inside, raced near the rail on the turn and dug in to take third the final yards. SOMESUGARNSPICE chased through the backstretch, raced at the rail on the turn, was eased outward in the upper stretch and finished evenly. SAIL ON BREEZE gave chase, rounded the turn about the four path and flattened the final sixteenth. GIRLS PERFUME gave chase, raced in the four path on the turn and showed little in the lane. MACHEN MARGARITAS appeared to lose actions behind and consequently lost her rider on the chute.
