Chart notes
EL IT unhurried in the beginning, moved up, racing outside around the second turn, drove clear down the lane and finished well. GLORIA'S BOY void of early speed, made a steady gain, racing wide around the second turn, proved no match for the winner, but was a clear second. CLASSIC WARRIOR raced within striking distance, forwardly placed throughout, made a mild bid and proved no match for the top two. MR. CLYDE JESTER broke a step slow, rushed up, challenged for the lead, drove clear down the backside and weakened. SLEW CITY HENRY lacked early speed, had a wide trip, moved up, but was no factor. MOON TRIP void of early speed and passed tired ones. SAMURAI'S GRANDSON dueled for the early lead and was finished early. PARKER NOW showed early speed and dropped back. CHELSEA'S GLORY raced in the middle of the field, faded and was no threat late. POPPY T raced in the middle of the pack in the early part and retreated to the rear.
