Chart notes
I'MAGAMBLER prompted the early pace and made a three wide bid by the quarter pole, then drew off in the stretch to prove much the best under crop urging. MCTHANKS was rated along early, made a four wide bid by the quarter pole, then lugged in by the furlong marker under right handed crop, then held on to the place award late. ALL CHROME was allowed to settle early, advanced three wide by the quarter pole and improved position late while just missing the place award, bested rest. SPINNING BLACK vied for the early lead in between rivals, made a two wide bid nearing the quarter pole but weakened in the drive. FARMER FRED R F showed no speed and lacked a rally. COMET CAUSEY vied for the lead on the inside and gave way.
