Chart notes
FLYING CONNECTION was away alertly to set a pressured pace in the two path while being well handled, then was given her cue leaving the turn and responded well and drew off to prove much the best under mild crop urging. LOVE TANK was reserved early on the inside, advanced three to four wide on the far turn, came five wide into the lane and finished well to get the bob for the place award. LOANA chased the early pace and made a inside bid leaving the turn but proved no match for the winner and losing the place award on the wire. CITYONTHENILE pressed the pace three wide and weakened in the drive, held on to the last spot in the superfecta. CHARLEE MAE tracked the pace three wide and was three to four wide on the far turn and weakened. BIRDIE CURDY was allowed to settle early, saved ground on the far turn, angled out leaving the turn and had no rally.
