Chart notes
DRINKWITHTHESTARS took over on the chute then tapered to the inside and set a pressured pace, raced at the rail on the turn and held well with steady handling. STRETCH THE TRUTH gave chase, rounded the turn about the four path, bore out approaching the head of the lane but dug in under steady encouragement and recovered second in the final strides. JIMMY THE KID gave chase inside, raced at the rail on the turn, dug in under steady stretch handling but was nipped from second the final strides. PRIMAL DESTINY broke outward and made contact with Jazz Man Do then gave chase, raced in the five path on the turn and ran evenly in the lane. ASSERT DOMINANCE gave chase, raced in the three path on the turn and showed little in the lane. JAZZ MAN DO was bumped leaving the gate, gave chase through the backstretch, raced in the three path on the turn and weakened in the stretch. LIL MR MATT gave chase and rounded the turn about the four path.
