JEANNE MARIE set the pace on the inside racing with a short lead, showed the way on the far turn, responded when roused entering the stretch and pulled away under urging. KISS FOR LUCK stalked between rivals on the backside, advanced inside on the far turn, angled out at the top of the lane, rallied, dug in gamely but second best. EXPERIMENTAL pressed the pacesetter racing close up while two wide, chased between rivals on the far turn, made a bid at the quarter pole and weakened in the final furlong. MARIA SAYS SO trailed the field, moved up on the far turn, then failed to threaten. ECLAIR BLANC stalked four wide on the backside, chased three wide on the far turn, made a bid at the quarter pole and faded. SWEET DISTRACTION stalked three wide, chased two wide on the far turn and gave way. MOLLY MALONE tracked close up early on the inside, then chased and gave way.
