Chart notes
LONESOME BOY forced the pace outside, dueled through the final turn, took over nearing the quarter pole then drew off in the final furlong. GUANARE settled off the leaders wide, bid in the stretch, ducked out under a left handed whip in midstretch, continued to race an erratic course but lasted for the place. LE VIN hustled to the front inside, dueled through the final turn, weakened in the stretch but finished willingly. JUST STEP ON IT saved ground close up early then was finished by the far turn. CAPO ducked out at the start, raced wide and was no factor. CARRY GRANT lagged far behind and trailed throughout.
