Chart notes

LEA ME BE broke inwardly at the start and bumped rival, then remained well rated down the backstretch along the rail, dug in gamely leaving the bend and surged down the lane to be up at the wire. BOUGIE JOE prompted the pace from the inside, took command in late backstretch, then vied to keep the lead with outer rivals leaving the turn, held on gamely in the early stretch before being out finished in the late stretch. SOLDIERS SACRIFICE was bumped at the start, led briefly while two wide, then lost command on the turn but continued to press the leader, dug in to regain the lead at the quarter pole, was unsuccessful and was best for the show prize. AMERICAN ICON was bumped on both sides then pressed the pace while three wide, moved up on the turn to battle for the lead, could not retain bid and missed the show prize in the end. WISHERT was allowed to settle at the back of the field and had no impact. C D'S WILD FIRE broke inward and bumped rival, showed brief speed then settled in the two path and did not spark in the final furlongs.
