The latter rated a slim lead inside, came under pressure leaving the three eighths pole, contested the edge at the rail on the far turn and dug in gamely leaving the turn, but ceded the nod in the final strides. DIAL HER settled in the three path the first turn, picked up the chase toward the three eighths pole, rounded the far turn in the three path and dug in to take third the final yards. EMBERLY raced in the three path the opening turn, picked up the chase nearing the three eighths pole, rounded the far turn in the three path then flattened leaving the eighth pole. TIMEISGOLDEN saved ground, gave chase leaving the three eighths pole but flattened stride near the rail on the far turn.
