Chart notes
PRINCESS MARGARET settled off the rail the first turn, bid nearing the three eighths pole and entered the far turn about the four path, was carried out approaching the head of the lane, left the turn widest but dug in determinedly leaving the turn and edged clear the final yards. MAKANI raced in the three path the opening turn, picked up the chase approaching the three eighths pole and took the lead two deep toward the quarter, bore out nearing the head of the lane but dug in gamely to late stretch before relenting. PARALLAX VIEW exchanged contact with Tuesday Too leaving the gate then raced off the rail the first turn, gave chase leaving the seven sixteenths pole, entered the far turn about the three path then dug in near the rail leaving the turn and cleared third later yards. LIVANA closed to the front past the three quarter pole then moved to the inside entering the first turn and rated the pace, came under pressure leaving the three eighths pole, was met at the rail toward the quarter and weakened leaving the far turn. CURVE APPEAL rounded the first turn in the four path, gave chase from the seven sixteenths pole but showed little response. TUESDAY TOO exchanged contact with Parallax View leaving the gate then saved ground on the first turn, gave chase leaving the half mile pole but weakened at the rail on the far turn.
