J AND M EXPRESS forwardly placed away from the start, rated into the first turn and tracked the early pace two to three wide into the backstretch run, well placed nearing the half-mile pole, roused three wide into the far turn and vied for the lead into upper stretch, drew to even terms with KITTEN'S KID at the furlong marker and dueled that game rival into the final sixteenth, wore down the runner-up in deep stretch and held in a drive to prevail in the final strides. KITTEN'S KID hopped at the start and was away a step slowly, was prominent into the first turn and stalked the decent early pace two to three wide into the backstretch, tracked the solid pace while closest to the loose pacesetter nearing the half-mile pole, took command into the second turn and led into upper stretch, was confronted by J AND M EXPRESS and met that rival's bid at the furlong marker, dueled into the final sixteenth, fought gamely into deep stretch and was bested in the final strides, while just holding for second at the finish. GEA settled while never far back in the early stages, saved ground into the backstretch run and tracked the decent pace to the half-mile marker, gained ground two wide into the second turn then raced in traffic and was boxed in at the quarter pole, found room into upper stretch and ran evenly to the furlong marker, closed willingly into the final sixteenth and just missed for second at the finish, while holding clear for third. TIZ MY PRINCESS unhurried in the early running, raced two to three wide into the backstretch run, tracked the decent pace while widest approaching the half-mile pole, loomed four to five wide along the far turn, swung widest into the stretch and lost ground at the furlong marker, re-rallied into the final sixteenth and was outkicked in deep stretch. BOURBON GLAZE allowed to settle away from the start, saved ground into the first turn, unhurried through the backstretch run, encountered traffic into the second turn and was guided three to four wide nearing the quarter marker, improved position into the stretch, could not sustain her run into the final sixteenth and finished evenly. MORNING ADDICTION away in good order, showed good early speed and set the pace into the first turn, drew to a clear lead along the first turn, set decent fractions while controlling the pace approaching the half-mile marker, came under pressure into the second turn and was overtaken nearing the quarter pole, chased into the stretch and faded in the final furlong.
