Chart notes
BREAK THE CHAINS took a quick lead and moved to the inside to show the way, kept the edge over MOON FALL leaving the half mile pole and was urged clear of that one toward the five sixteenths pole, raced near the rail on the far turn and held well with steady encouragement. The latter stalked two deep and challenged leaving the half mile pole, but dropped back at the five sixteenths, rounded the far turn off the rail and finished well to close the gap. MY BOY CLYDE saved ground racing well off the pace, bid nearing the seven sixteenths pole, raced in the five path on the far turn and came along to take third inside the sixteenth pole. GRUMPY'S BUDDY settled in the four path, picked up the chase approaching the three eighths pole, rounded the far turn near the rail and passed some rivals. STROLLINGINTHEWIND rated close off the rail, picked up the chase leaving the seven sixteenths pole, rounded the far turn near the rail and weakened in the lane. SUMMONING DENIS settled in the five path early, gave chase nearing the seven sixteenths pole, raced in the three path on the far turn and weakened. GREATANDGOOD stalked from the three path, gave chase leaving the seven sixteenths pole, raced in the three path on the far turn and weakened in the stretch. LONG LEGS LOUISE mostly saved ground. LOVE IS WICKED became anxious in the gate then rated close to the early pace inside, but faded leaving the second turn.
