Chart notes
LIGHTNIN RUNNER angled in and stalked from the three path the first turn, challenged leaving the seven sixteenths pole and took the lead two deep toward the quarter, raced clear midway on the far turn and was steadily handled to hold on well. MOONLIT SHADOW rated the pace inside, came under pressure toward the three eighths pole but was met at the rail approaching the quarter, dropped back midway on the far turn and settled for second best. MAGGIE'S GIRL stalked from the four path the first turn, bid nearing the three eighths pole and raced two deep on the far turn, then flattened stride in the stretch duel for second. RUNAWAY BEAUTY settled close off the rail the opening turn, gave chase nearing the three eighths pole, rounded the far turn at the rail and weakened in the lane. THE SKY IS FALLING saved ground racing well off the pace, gave chase leaving the three eighths pole, rounded the far turn off the rail and passed rivals. SENECA ROCKS ducked out leaving the gate then saved ground, picked up the chase nearing the seven sixteenths pole, raced in the three path on the far turn and showed little in the lane. XANTHE was bumped outward and into Runaway Beauty leaving the gate, raced well back off the rail the opening turn and showed little response through the backstretch. CHANGE THE WORLD was forced outward and into Xanthe leaving the gate then saved early ground and faded leaving the first turn. JUBA'S PARADE rounded the first turn about the four path and bid only mildly leaving the seven sixteenths pole.
