Chart notes
PRINTRACK brushed with a rival at the start then was hustled, showed the way down the backstretch, vied in the two path on the turn, lost the advantage into upper stretch, responded well when put to the crop shortly thereafter, regained the lead inside the furlong marker and edged clear in the final sixteenth under strong urging to prevail. MISTER J T settled on the outside, was roused three wide on the turn, gained five wide into the stretch, chased outside into the final sixteenth and got up for the place. MR PHIL was coaxed along off the pace, chased three then four wide on the turn, was driven five wide into the stretch, pursued the leaders under a drive into the final sixteenth, raced between foes late and just missed the place while able to get the show. CHATEAU tracked the pace on the outside then in the three path on the turn, made a bid near the five-sixteenths pole, gained the advantage in the four path into upper stretch, led outside into the final furlong then lost the advantage back to his stablemate and tired. COLONEL VARGO broke out at the start, pressed the pace on the inside of the leader, dropped back while taken up leaving the backstretch, saved ground while put to urging on the turn, moved off the rail late on that bend and lacked the needed kick. GOT THUNDER broke out at the start, was urged along off the pace, dropped back near the nine-sixteenths, moved from the rail to the two path on the turn and failed to rally. RYAN'S CAT brushed with an opponent at the start, was urged along off the pace, went four wide on the turn and lacked the needed response. HONORARY DEGREE was urged along towards the back, went five wide on the turn and failed to threaten. FOLLOWING THE RACE, THE RIDER OF COLONEL VARGO CLAIMED FOUL AGAINST PINTRICK ALLEGING INTEREFENCE LEAVING THE BACKSTRETCH. AFTER THE STEWARDS' REVIEW, NO CHANGE WAS MADE TO THE ORDER OF FINISH
