Chart notes
MAN AMONG MEN stalked outside a rival, bid two wide past the quarter pole, inched ahead in upper stretch, drove clear pat the eighth pole and held safely under urging. SEVEN WONDERS raced near the back and moved into the two path early, advanced three deep on the far turn, came five wide into the stretch, finished determinedly but could not reach the winner. COALINGA ROAD settled between rivals, took the second turn two wide and gained third. SBAGLIATO reserved at the back and moved inside, angled out leaving the far turn, offered a mild response to urging and rounded out the superfecta. CARVER showed good early speed and took control of the rail, showed the way to the far turn, challenged past the quarter pole, lost command in upper stretch and weakened in the late stages. MALIBU COAST tucked inside towards the rear, angled three wide on the far turn and failed to menace. MIDNIGHT MAMMOTH bumped leaving the gate, reserved on the inside, saved ground to the stretch and could not rally. HALFWAY LINE (GB) off slow to begin, stalked from the rail position, tipped three wide into the lane and weakened. MYSTIFICATION settled three deep early, spun four wide into the stretch and weakened.
