Chart notes
BULLET was off a step slow, raced well back inside down the backstretch, angled four wide nearing the five-sixteenths marker, came six wide into lane, kicked in outside, seized command leaving the sixteenth pole and surged clear. YOU NEED ME dueled inside of UNCHAINED ELAINE, put that foe away leaving the eighth pole but could not resist the winner late. MY EMMY raced off the pace two and three wide, angled five wide in upper stretch and kept on well to gain the show. UNCHAINED ELAINE dueled two wide and weakened in the final furlong. GOOD LONG CRY stalked the pace three wide, had aim in upper stretch but faded late. BOIS BLANC failed to menace while racing two wide. PERFECT SHANCES tracked the pace inside, tipped two wide in upper stretch and lacked a closing bid. BUNRATTY MANOR (IRE) was fractious in the gate, was unprepared for the start, got away at least three lengths behind the field and trailed inside. THE STEWARDS CONDUCTED AN INQUIRY INTO THE START AND FOUND NO REASON TO TAKE ACTION.
