Chart notes
CAPE TRAFALGAR set the pace in the two path, was roused along the inside when headed by an outer foe passing the three eighths pole, cut the corner to kick away from the two path in upper stretch, began to shorten stride in the final sixteenth, but held on. BIG MARTINI tracked in the three path, was ridden in the two path around the turn, angled out to the five path at the top of the stretch, ran on for place, and just missed getting up for the win. LUNI SIMA prompted the pace in the four path, bid in the three path early around the turn, tipped back out to the four path turning into the lane, but evened out for show. TOXIC GRAY stalked in the five path, was cued from the four path passing the three-eighths pole, floated out to the six path turning into the stretch, but flattened. BRON AND BROW trailed in the six path, fanned out to the nine path turning into the lane, but made no impact. TURBO rated in the five path but was no menace.
