Chart notes
LIGHT MAN coaxed from the gate, chased four then three wide coming under coaxing at the three-eighths, swung five to six wide into upper stretch, dug in under a drive and was up in the last jumps to the finish to prevail. TEN CENT TOWN chased just off the inside coming under coaxing near the quarter pole, continued just off the inside into upper stretch, rallied to take command a sixteenth from home, then got caught in the final strides to the wire. FORTUNE'S NEPHEW coaxed from the start, showed the way in hand three paths off the inside before tucking inside through the turn, came under coaxing near the quarter pole, swung four to five wide into upper stretch, dug in under a drive under threat from flanking rivals, got collared near the sixteenth pole and fought on between foes to the line. LOCKE AND KEY bobbled at the break, chased five then four wide coming under coaxing at the five-sixteenths, went seven wide into upper stretch and offered up a mild bid. THANK YOU JON broke out at the start bumping LITTLE LUCA, chased three wide coming under coaxing at the five-sixteenths, swung six wide into upper stretch and weakened. LITTLE LUCA got bumped at the start by THANK YOU JON, chased along the inside, got placed in tight near the half mile pole by TEN CENT TOWN and was bumped in the right shoulder with that rival just inside that station, got placed to a protective hold when shortening stride and was guided to the outside and steadily pulled up near the quarter pole before subsequently being vanned off.
