Chart notes
CERTAIN vied for the early lead o the outside, edged ahead through the turn, then shook clear in the lane, drew off and was kept to the task. MACKENZIE'S NOVVA unhurried, saved ground through the turn, angled widest int the stretch, made a steady gain and closed well for the place. VERY DEBONAIRE well placed and outside, moved up three wide through the turn, bid on that path into the lane, then flattened late and missed the place. PARTNER TOURS tracked the pace, saved ground on the two path through the turn, then had no stretch rally. ON AN ISLAND set the early pace on the inside, stayed on when loosing sway through the turn, then faded in the stretch. MO TOWN BLUES was no factor.
