Chart notes
CHIQUIRIN raced off the pace inside, advanced at the quarter pole, came three wide into the lane, closed steadily outside, gained nearing the sixteenth marker, wore down the leader and drew clear at the end. MOCEPHUS stalked close up three wide, bid on the turn, took over, came wide into the stretch, dug in gamely and yielded grudgingly late. CLEM LABINE broke a step slow, was outrun early, moved up passing the quarter pole, angled out in upper stretch and closed late. FACE ABARRIO vied two wide for the early lead, dueled inside on the turn and weakened. NOTION TO TAPIT raced two wide off the pace, chased on the turn and had no rally. GIVE IT A GO was outrun early and did not factor. SHANGHAI WARRIOR vied inside for the lead, steadied nearing the turn, then chased and gave way.
