Chart notes
AMERICAN WARRIOR vied for the lead in opening stages, continued under pressure around the turn, shook free to a slim lead in upper stretch, dug in gamely under firm handling and just lasted. RABBIT HOUND was allowed to settle in the early going while never far off the early pace, saved ground then shifted out mid-way around the turn, swung five paths wide into upper stretch, rallied gamely along the outside and got denied by a nose. HONEST OPINION bumped with rival at the start, tracked the top trio up the backstretch, moved up to challenge for the lead at the quarter pole, could not match strides with eventual winner in upper stretch but remained in strong contention then yielded late. LAST DIAMOND bumped with rival at the start, recovered quickly and vied for the early lead, continued to chase in contention around the turn then tired in the drive. GEM COLLECTION bobbled slightly at the start then moved up to duel for the lead, continued to chase in range around the turn then came up empty turning for home.
