Chart notes
SHADOW FACTOR unhurried, moved up inside through the turn, came through inside of rivals into the stretch, angled out for clear racing room, made a steady gain and drew off inside the furlong marker. DANCING ON AIR broke out at the start, was sent to be well placed outside quickly, held position three and four wide through the turn, fanned five wide into the stretch and closed well for the place. LADY LOVES MONEY broke sharply from the gate and sprinted away quickly, held sway unchallenged to the final furlong, then weakened late and held the show. ANHINGA stalked the pace on the outside, lost some ground two and three wide through the turn, fanned four wide into the stretch and tired. NARIZON tracked the pace, drifted out slightly through the turn and into the stretch, then faded in the lane. COURAGEOUS ARI was never involved.
