Chart notes
JASPER'S PRIDE raced off the pace, moved up inside entering the turn, came two wide into the stretch, angled out at the eighth pole, commenced a late rally and closed strongly late to get up. DR. DOYLE chased close up on the inside, chased on the turn, rallied on the rail entering the stretch, dueled to a short lead at the sixteenth marker and dug in gamely to the finish. CHARLIE'S EXPRESS dueled inside for the early lead, then chased on the turn, re rallied three wide turning for home, dueled through the stretch run and dug in gamely to the end. ON THE COME UP dueled two wide for the lead, shook free on the turn, dueled between rivals in upper stretch and weakened late. CRAFTY DON trailed the field and passed tired rivals. ELECTRIC EEL bobbled slightly at the break, chased four wide early, chased on the turn and tired. JOEBOY'S JEDI chased three wide early, chased on the turn and tired. HELLO POP raced off the rail, off the pace, chased and failed to threaten. CASSATION chased between rivals and faded.
