Chart notes
STAR NATION leaned out and bumped a rival at the start, lagged behind despite rider's urging down the backstretch, rejoined the group shifting four wide entering the lane, then rallied on his left lead to edge past the leader in the late stages. SUMMER IN AIKEN broke in and bumped a rival at the start, vied two wide, between horses around the turn, drove clear entering the final furlong but was caught by an outer bidder late. RED LINE OVERDRIVE bumped the inner stall door upon leaving the gate, stalked moving out to the three path leaving the chute, inched forward to prompt three wide and between horses at the five furlong pole, sustained pressure outside of the top pair around the turn, failed to maintain it in upper stretch, then got outkicked by place at the sixteenth pole. FREAKY Z vied along the inside but gave way in midstretch. REDHILL tracked five deep down the backstretch, chased tucking tucking to the two path around the turn, swung back to the five path entering the lane and failed to menace. VERACRUZIN broke a step slow and was pinched back between horses at the start, recovered to stalk four wide and between horses, but weakened with three furlongs to go, pulled up entering the lane and was taken off of the track in an equine ambulance.
