BURTON WAY took a quick lead while tapering to the inside and rated the pace, kept the edge over Let's Eat leaving the half mile pole, widened under a hand ride at the rail on the far turn and held well under steady stretch handling. NO BRAKE NEEDED rated close inside on the opening turn, gave chase nearing the seven sixteenths pole, rounded the far turn at the rail and settled for second best. LET'S EAT stalked the early pace from the three path, gave chase leaving the half mile pole but flattened in the three path on the far turn. RAMSEY saved ground on the opening turn, gave chase past the half mile pole, rounded the far turn near the rail and ran evenly in the lane. TIZAWINNER raced in the three path the first turn, picked up the chase nearing the three eighths pole, rounded the far turn off the rail and showed little in the lane. THIRD DEGREE settled off the rail the first turn, eased out leaving the turn and showed little response. MEXICAN KRYPTONITE raced in the four path the first turn, left the turn outside and showed little response.
