Chart notes
ROCK CITY ROCKET tracked the top trio through early stages, let out a notch and loomed boldly three wide at the quarter pole, took over the lead in upper stretch and drew off. HERITAGE PARK pressed the early pace then vied for the lead mid-way up the backstretch, continued to duel with IMPRESSOR around the turn, could not move on with ROCK CITY ROCKET past upper stretch and settled for second best. CASH EXPRESS was not far back in the opening quarter, flattened along the inside around the turn, saved ground entering the lane and churned on for a share. HAPPY HOUR BOBBY sped to the lead soon after the start, set a pressured pace in opening stages then vied with outside duo mid-way up the backstretch, could not move on with top pair upon entering the turn and retreated. IMPRESSOR pressed the pace in the early going, vied three deep for the lead mid-way up the backstretch, continued to match strides with HERITAGE PARK around the turn, came two wide into upper stretch then lost the rider while injured and vanned off after the race.
