Chart notes
MR. MOX was shuffled back at the start then closed to contention and stalked, took the lead two deep at the nine sixteenths pole and was rated from that point, came under pressure approaching the quarter pole, widened at the rail on the far turn and held on well with steady handling. ALPHA CHI RHO rounded the first turn about the three path, bid leaving the half mile pole, raced in the three path on the far turn and settled for second best. FLAMING EAST veered out leaving the gate then set the early pace inside, was met at the nine sixteenths pole and rated close from that point, gave chase leaving the three eighths but faded at the rail on the far turn. KRUG rounded the first turn about the four path and showed little response through the backstretch. OROCOVIX saved ground on the first turn, gave chase past the half mile pole and rounded the far turn about the three path. INDIANA RED saved ground.
