Chart notes
LITTLE RONS ROCKET stalked the pace three wide into the turn, shifted out widest entering the stretch, rallied determinedly in the middle of the racetrack late under strong left handed urging and got up in the final strides. DANES HEART allowed to settle, shot to the front with a rapid moved four wide at the top of the stretch, shook clear before the furlong marker and just missed hanging on. ONE STEP ASIDE trailed far back down the backstretch and closed rapidly along the rail through the stretch and just missed getting up in time. GIBBY MY CORN pressed the pace two wide into the stretch, drifted to the five path then faded late. ORVILLE B rushed up the inside to make the lead soon after the start, set a pressured pace to the top of the stretch then stopped.
