ROLL ON BIG O away alertly, set a pressured pace into the stretch, opened a daylight lead under right handed urging before the furlong marker and prevailed under confident handling. RAY'S EMPIRE had good early speed three wide, saved ground through the turn, had a mild late rally in the two path and finished well clear for second. K C OUTWORK close up early, swung wide giving up ground then passed tiring rivals late. SHOWTIME BOY pressured the winner two wide to the top of the stretch then weakened. SMOKE SCREEN failed to menace. SPIRIT OF AKRON stalked the early pace, drew closer three wide on the turn then came up empty.
