POLIS saved ground while being allowed to settle, angled out three-wide nearing the three-eighths pole for room, moved up to take the lead nearing the eighth pole and then was fully extended to hold over AVELLINASA late. AVELLINASA was unhurried early, came four-wide into the stretch and finished fast. GRAZED BY LOVE vied with WHISKEYONTHEROCKS for the lead from along the outside to the stretch and then held on well for third when headed. DRIVE TRAIN was prominently placed while racing three-wide and went evenly. JULLIAN IN PARIS broke slow then dropped came, came three-wide into the stretch and was gaining late. WHISKEYONTHEROCKS vied for the lead to the stretch from along the inside and tired. MR. EXECUTIVE saved ground while being reserved off the early pace but had no response when asked.
