Chart notes
UPPER ROOM saved ground stalking the leaders, moved up four-wide nearing the quarter pole then took the lead nearing the eighth pole and won drawing clear. PROUD LION saved ground setting the pace, turn back a bid from PICK A LANE FRANK nearing the quarter then responded when headed by UPPER ROOM nearing the eighth pole and held on gamely. PICK A LANE FRANK prompted the pace from along the outside, moved up to offer a bid nearing the quarter pole but was unable to sustain his rally while finishing well for third in a steady effort. MARKSMAN ON TARGET saved ground while being allowed to settle but lacked a rally. DYF was unhurried while racing two-wide and failed to seriously threaten.
