FLOGE raced off the pace inside, moved up on the turn, went five wide past the quarter pole, rallied widest, dug in gamely outside of GRINGOTTS, dueled with that rival in the final sixteenth and prevailed at the wire. GRINGOTTS raced off the pace, advanced on the turn, bid four wide at the quarter pole, rallied to a short lead, then dug in gamely in the final furlong and dueled with FLOGE to the wire. FAIRY CAKES (GB) steadied at the start, trailed the field, advanced inside at the quarter pole and rallied mildly on the rail in the lane.
