Chart notes
MADELYN ATTACK veered out at the start, settled off the pace, rallied around the turn, bid six wide, dueled for the lead, inched away late and held well. MACHIVA was crowded at the start to be off slowly, was unhurried early and trailed the field, went widest in the drive, closed with a rush, was gaining fast late and got up for place. PERFECT MANHATTAN was pushed in at the start, vied inside around the first turn, pressed the pace, bid willingly to duel for the lead, yielded late and lost position. SAFECRACKER SUE lagged early, bid along the rail on the turn, altered course in the upper stretch and didn't have enough late. BABE IN THE WOODS was crowded at the start, dropped inside to save ground and finished well. WW BEST OF TIMES broke in, vied two across around the first turn, set a pressured pace to the second turn, drew clear, responded when challenged to duel, faltered late and lost position. ERNESTINA broke in, stalked the pace in a good position to the second turn and stopped.
