Chart notes
YOU DON'T OWN ME away alertly and raced to a clear advantage in the run to the first turn while saving ground along the inside, controlled the pace through the stretch the first time while racing just out from the rail, continued to lead the way in the run down the backstretch and through the final turn, and was all out to hold off SELF SERVING in deep stretch to prevail. SELF SERVING was tossing his head prior to the start, and got away poorly, moved up three wide through the first turn to assume a tracking trip into the lane the first time, maintained his tracking trip in the run down the backstretch, rallied three wide through the final turn, and closed determinedly three wide in the drive to just miss after his early issues. SLEW'S DA BOSS stalked the early pacesetter while saving ground at the rail entering the stretch the first time, continued to save ground in the run down the backside and through the final turn, and finished from along the rail in the drive to garner a share. BARNEY GOOGLE unhurried early while dropping back to trail, bided his time at the back of the pack in the run down the backstretch, rallied two out from the rail entering the final turn, and finished three wide in the drive while unable to mount a serious late bid. VALUE MAX settled well off the early pace while racing one out from the rail through the stretch the first time, maintained his position in the run down the backstretch, saved ground through the final turn, but failed to make a late impact when called upon.
