Chart notes
ACCORDINGLY broke sharply and vied for the lead from along the rail through the stretch the first time, set a pressured pace from the inside of NU SOUP FOR BABY in the run down the backside and into the final turn, took control through the turn, and was never seriously threatened late. RICK'S DANCER settled off the contested early pace while saving ground at the rail through the stretch the first time, began to advanced midway down the backstretch, rallied smartly from along the rail entering the final turn, shifted off the rail entering the lane, and closed willingly one out from the rail in the drive to prove clearly second best. NU SOUP FOR BABY dueled for the lead two out from the rail through the stretch the first time, continued to force the pace from the outside of ACCORDINGLY while racing two wide in the run down the backstretch and into the final turn, was unable to match strides with his pace rival through the turn, and finished three wide in the drive to hold on for a share. BARBERRY BANDIT away alertly and tracked the leaders through the stretch the first time while saving ground at the rail, was unable to maintain his position in the run down the backside, rallied two wide through the final turn, and finished evenly from along the rail in the drive. RANCHO RED away well, but lagged well behind the dueling leaders entering the stretch the first time, continued to bid his time near the back of the pack in the run down the backstretch, rallied along the inside entering the final turn, and finished two wide in the drive while unable to improve his position. EH TEE EM unhurried early while dropping back to trail in the run to the first turn, was always well back and wasn't persevered with over the final furlong.
