Chart notes
ESCAPEFROMPARADISE saved ground setting the pace, drifted out during the drive and maintained a safe advantagte. SPORTY NUGGET was allowed to settle early, came four-wide into the stretch then angled in during the drive and closed strongly. PARKER'S FIFTEEN was reserved off the pace, rallied five-wide the final quarter mile and finished well for third. SQUARE FUN tracked ESCAPEFROMPARADISE while racing two-wide but lacked a rally. BETTY LUTE was five-wide on the first turn then raced in the middle of the field for three furlongs and tired. WINANYWAYUCAN prompted the issue for six furlongs while racing three-wide and then gave way. LUTES SEA GYPSY dropped back early and failed to be a factor.
