Chart notes
LADY JASPER stalked the pace three wide into the far turn, responded readily to make the lead at the top of the stretch and finished full of run under brisk handling to win as much the best. THE MIRACLE KIUT away alertly, the pace two wide past the quarter pole then was no match for the winner while gamely holding on for second. MISSION GIRL pressed the pace along the rail and was outfinished. OUT FOR FUN was outrun. BROWNIE allowed to settle, began to close ground nearing the quarter pole, suffered a catastrophic injury, fell and was euthanized. CROSSED UP tracked the pace four wide for six furlongs, fell over the fallen rival past the quarter pole and was walked off. THE STEWARDS POSTED THE INQUIRY SIGN BUT TOOK NO ACTION.
