NEIMAN stalked the leader while racing in the four path, launched a bit at the half mile pole, improved position, drew next to the leader near the five sixteenth pole, challenged for the lead and took over at the quarter pole, drew off in the stretch for an impressive win. NAVAL ESCORT raced off of the pace, traveled in the four path, launched a bid at the half mile marker, improved position, gained ground, was asked for more in the upper stretch, responded well finding his best stride late closing fast getting up for second. FIREWALKER raced along the rail, was off the pace early, saved ground, launched a bid at the half mile pole, improved position through the turn, was collared late by a fast closing outside rival settling for third. FANTASTIC DAY was off slow, traveled in the three path and was no menace. PAPA'S GOLDEN BOY vied for the lead, raced in the two path, set the pace, was challenged near the quarter pole and gave way. GODSEND stalked two wide, had no late kick.
