Chart notes
IRISH WARLOCK took control shortly away from the gate, set a well rated, well measured pace under mild pressure, kicked clear in upper stretch when called upon and drew off down the lane unthreatened. CONCENTRATION reserved off the pace to midway on the turn, angled five wide on the bend to circle the field and closed well to be up for the place in the final stride. MEET ME AT MUNDIS prompted the pace from three wide through the turn, was no match for the winner coming home, finished willingly and was caught for a share of the place. GOODLUCKCHUCK tracked the pacesetters from three wide to the top of the lane and lacked a closing bid finishing evenly. RENNIE stalked the pace from between rivals and made a mild bid in the lane from the rail without impact. NAKED AND FAMOUS raced close up early, settled to a stalking position mid-pack on the turn when in tight and lacked a response when called upon midway on the bend. RAKIA was never a factor. THANK YA PETE broke alertly, showed brief speed the first three-sixteenths, dropped back through the field and was no threat.
