Chart notes
EL BAILADOR took command shortly away from the gate, set a well rated pace under constant pressure to the quarter pole, repelled the presser's bid, kicked away in upper stretch and held well. THIRD DEGREE unhurried for the first half mile to be near the rear of the pack, crept up through traffic on the turn to rally from four wide turning for home, angled to the clear along the fence in upper stretch and was gaining in deep stretch. WATERMELON CRUSH pressed the pace to midway on the final turn, challenged the pacesetter nearing the quarter pole, was repelled by that one and kept-on through the stretch to hold the show. NAVY ADMIRAL tracked the pacesetters from between rivals two wide to the head of the lane and mounted a mild bid in the lane unable to gain on the leaders. AMERICAN DAY reserved off the leaders along the fence through the first turn, angled four wide for the run down the backside, split rivals on the turn, angled further out in upper stretch and made a late bid through the stretch. BIALYSTOCK broke the gate open pre-race, raced mid-pack throughout and failed to mount a closing rally. TRUE ACCOUNT was caught wide the entire trip racing six wide down the backstretch, taken in hand dropping back to be four wide into the far turn and went evenly. BOURBON STRAIT slow early to trail, raced near the rear and passed tiring rivals in the stretch. LEGEND'S THUNDER stalked the pace from the rail for three-quarters and faded. ROCKY'S ADVENTURE was never a threat. COUSIN GIORGOS tracked the leaders from four wide through the final bend, loomed turning for home and gave way in the lane. DUBAI AND BACK (IRE) contended from five wide down the backside and was through early.
