Chart notes
LOVE ME TENDER rated off the early pace along the rail while well in hand, edged up on the fence in the turn to a striking position, angled out four wide turning for home, swept up to engage the leaders in upper stretch and quickly drew off in convincing fashion. ABSOLUTE GRIT broke alertly, pressed the pace through the turn, rallied from three wide to threaten at the top of the lane and kept-on willingly through the stretch. SUPREME LAW tracked the leaders from three wide through the turn and rallied mildly in the lane to gain the show. WICKLINE took control shortly away from the gate, set a pressured pace to the top of the stretch, had no answer when called upon for the drive and weakened along the fence down the stretch. THIS IS GOOD broke at the rear of the field and steadily improved his position without impact. SPURS UP went evenly never posing a threat. SAN COSTANTINO chased the pace from five wide on the turn and flattened out in the lane. VIGORISH was outrun.
